Light is the most important synchronizer of human circadian rhythms. Electrical devices should be switched off before going to bed to prevent  light pollution, the impact of smartphone screen use and blue light contributed to daily pollutants that increases rise in deaths from cancer and heart conditions.

Light pollution from buildings and streetlamps disrupt the body’s daily rhythms and may increase the risk of cancer. Exposure to cleaning products and dust daily can be linked to chronic conditions like heart disease and asthma. This increases the risk of developing some deadly disease.

Smartphone screens emit bright blue light so that the users can see even at the sunniest times of day. But at night, the brain gets confused by the light, as it mimics the brightness of the sun. This makes the brain to stop producing melatonin, smart phone light can disrupt sleep cycle and make it difficult to sleep.
