According to the World Health Organisation,WHO,  there are links between low intakes of nutrients and the risk of developing chronic diseases like cancers, heart disease, diabetes and many others. Eating balanced diet is the solution, all the required vitamins and minerals are present in a balanced diet because it contains all the classes of foods in correct proportion.  Daily essential vitamins are: A, D, E, K, C, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, Biotin and Folic Acid.

Mineral: Calcium, Chloride, Sodium, Molybdenum, Potassium, Iron, Magnesium, Manganese, Zinc, Selenium, Iodine, Vanadium, Cobalt, Silicon, Sulphur, Phosphorus, Chromium, Fluoride, Boron and Copper
Essential Protein: Leucine, Isoleucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Tryptophan, Valine, Histidine, Theonine
Essential fatty acids: Linoleic acid; Alpha-linolenic acid.

Some of modern-day diseases are the result of poor nutrition and vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Absence of these essential vitamins for a long time can leads to terminal diseases. Folic acid for example is a type of vitamin B that helps the body produce red blood cells, it is crucial during the first weeks of pregnancy to help the baby’s brain and spinal cord develop. It is good to solve the problem from the womb by eating balanced diet during pregnancy and eating foods rich in all the vitamins and minerals in all stages of life.
